Admissions Process

The Brook Retreat Admission Process

Getting yourself or a loved one to commit to entering recovery is a daunting task. We are happy to assist anyone with advice on how to navigate the process. We spend a great deal of time offering our experience and advice. It is our goal to help you find the best circumstances for your loved one. We will always be forthright with you; if your loved one is not going to be successful in our type of program we will let you know.

Call us for more information

Most people are blindsided by the complexity of drug addiction treatment. We aim to help you understand better. When considering our program please call and inquire about any and all questions. We are happy to answer. We want everyone to be on the same page and know what to expect. In general, our guests come directly from detox centers or hospitals to our program. However, many have found that a long-term structured program is a safe bet when completing traditional 28-day treatment.

Phone Interview

We require a phone interview prior to admission. This gives us the chance to decide whether our program is a good fit for you or your loved one’s recovery. We will be as forthright as possible, usually by asking if you are willing to do some “hard work” to change your life. Its our goal to set people up for success rather than fill beds.

Payment and Admission

We prefer to admit guests Monday-Thursday but fully understand the fragile nature of someone committing to enter a program. Upon arrival, the guest and payor will be brought through the handbook of our program so they fully understand the policies of our program. This will give you a chance to meet the faces of the Brook Retreat in person. All guests must pass a drug screen and breathalyzer test in order to be admitted to the program. Payment for the first month’s program fees are due upon arrival.
